Re-define Conflict
Experience Authentic Trust & Intimacy
Yes, it is true that romantic relationships have stages and phases. Nowadays, most people are familiar with the idea that our neurotransmitters (our brains’ natural love drugs) are responsible for the mesmerization we call love; and that eventually, they fade. What is less talked about are the deliberate simple actions that can be taken to replenish these love drugs we crave so much, in order to build a healthy long-term relationship. Couples can experience true intimacy by learning how to love one another.
Knowledge is Key
Your therapy facilitator will give you easy-to-understand insight into the neurobiological processes that separate secure and insecure couples. An understanding of what exactly is going on in each of your brains when you fight, feel threatened and then act out can be the key to breaking these cycles and feeling joy when you think of the partnership you have both built.
Recognize You’re Not Alone
Berne Brown has done a wonderful job of sharing the message: “Vulnerability is strength”. There is something truly powerful about being in a small group of individuals with a shared goal. Building a solid group culture can provide inbuilt reinforcement, support and most of all, an increased sense of accountability to yourself and your partner.
Practical Tools
What makes this therapy experience stand out is that you will gain insight to all of these skills and more and get a chance to put them into action with live discussions, videos and activities for you to practice these skills in session every week. More so, your group facilitator is a Marriage & Family Therapist trained to help you grow at a pace that feels right for you.
